To make that possible, IFM provides a tiered support supplement during your first three years on staff. This predictable, decreasing support allows you to ease into full-time ministry with confidence while learning how to engage partners who believe in your calling and want to support your work long-term.
How the Support Model Works
The following is how IFM’s unique funding model works:
- Year 1 – 50% IFM Support Supplement
- Year 2 – 35% IFM Support Supplement
- Year 3 – 20% IFM Support Supplement
- Year 4 and Beyond – Fully Partner-Supported
IFM covers half of your support needs, giving you the freedom to fully engage in your new ministry role while you begin cultivating a solid base of ministry partners.
As your partner team grows, IFM reduces its supplement. You continue building sustainable relationships while remaining financially supported.
By now, most staff are close to fully supported. IFM’s final supplement helps stabilize your transition into full self-funded ministry.
At this point, you have a strong and committed partnership team that sustains your ministry for the long term. IFM remains committed to providing guidance, accountability, and ongoing support.
